Alkira Secondary College

Alkira Secondary College is an excellent school that has improved tremendously over the years. It used to have a weaker reputation, but now the education is perfect, and the school is very well run. It is strict, which helps maintain focus and discipline, and the teachers are respectful, professional, and genuinely supportive of students’ success.

Academically, it provides a strong foundation in all subjects, and my four kids all attend Alkira and consistently achieve 90+ marks, which shows the high-quality teaching and learning environment. The school also offers a wide range of programs, including sports academies, music, performing arts, and Masterclass programs, allowing students to explore their interests and talents outside the classroom.

Alkira focuses on student wellbeing, with programs that build resilience and support mental health, creating a positive and inclusive environment. Overall, it’s a school that balances strict academic standards with personal growth and extracurricular opportunities.
