Hit or Miss

This school has a lot of flaws. Teachers don’t know how to deal with the increasingly judgmental cohorts lacking in respect and patience. One of the year five teachers is extremely controlling in the way which she treats her students. I have witnessed her telling someone “is that really a breakfast food?” when they have chosen to eat lollies during homeroom. When I was bullied in year 5 I recall her saying “we can’t do anything now. You should have come to us straight after it happened.”

There are some who put their hearts into learning: Mr. Wall, Ms. Nguyen, the library ladies. But there are also those who struggle to get through three powerpoint slides a lesson (one being the title page.)

Expectations are high and rewards are low. The school couldn’t care less about progress, it’s all about A’s.
The school has cared more about girls holding hands around the place, then when students start crying mid lesson. Uniform, perfection, and image are pushed onto the students and…
It’s very messy, it’s very exclusive, it’s very fragile.

There is like five toilets around the whole school, tuck shop food is insanely overpriced to prevent selling out, theres about two whole ramps, various, extremely slow elevators. It’s seen better days in regards to accessibility.

But I havent minded my time so far. I’ve managed to make friends: and that’s all that matters during high school, at least to teenagers.

The Hallows of All

Quite an exquisite place of education if I may say so myself. The temperament of a schooling educational facility is to such a miraculous standard yet one may ponder to alter just several aspects of the schoolings humble practises.
1. A reduction of the schools Ibie would be greatly appreciated across cohorts, preferably not of the execution nature
2. A dismisnishment of the ridiculous competitive academic standards of All hallows while the school preaches the impression that they value equality and everyone-being-different-in-their-own-way yet refusing to acknowledge sportsmanship that extends past their narrow minded idea of the sports women should partake in. E.g: the school tolerates cross country, swimming and netball but merely provides other sporting options to have the ability to say they do, yet not being equal in any sense. Some sports do not get any recognition or support as they are not considered feminine enough for the school and they made academic awards much more difficult to obtain to increase the toxic academic environment. Pathetic. Do better.
3. There is a increasing rubbish problem about the grounds , yet it has been considered this is the students responsibility
4. Some year 5 teachers are petrifying
Beautiful grounds, excellent location, lovely student environment
