Christian school masquerading as a chance for vulnerable students.
This is absolutely a christan school but they blatantly lied to our face about that over three separate interviews. They insisted they only use church buildings because they were empty during school days. However, after running into a previous student who had left their third week, and subsequently confronting the church administration running it, they finally admitted it, although they said it was only so they could "save souls" and they had good intentions.
They don't actually hire any full time teachers or therapists, despite their claims. Children are overseen by a pastor or church employee while on the premises and work opportunites are just working for the church or members of their congregation.
Their rules for women are extremely restrictive and they require all children to be involved in religious devotions. Their student handbook I downloaded has cult like requirements and heavily separates male and female into leaders and submissives.
Their aim is to increase waning congregation numbers by targeting vulnerable young people and slowly moving them from a secular to a religious viewpoint, as stated in their administration meeting minutes of November 2022.
It's fine to be a religious school. It's not fine to take $7,000 dollars and lie about what you offer or your intentions.
Just do your research and be warned.
