I bullied there all the time, most of the staff/principal wouldn't even help/denfend me because of me being autistic, anyone with a disability they saw as a burden
This review is for mater dei because its not on here
some, not all, of the teachers have been awful, the communication between the school and parents has been laughably terrible, bullying is never dealt with, majority of the kids in my child's year have appalling behaviour, little academic guidance in terms of ATAR awareness for younger years and university applications, some teachers are great, food is great, safety is good,
The academics are great, fantastic education, some of the “popular” kids ruin the school. Apart from about 4 very condescending staff members, they are all pretty good, although some social parts aren’t good, if you want better course options and higher academics this is the skl for you
Hey review-reader.
The teachers are other-worldly. Like seriously, they put in a lot of time and effort, and they are all-round great people. In my current grade, the majority of students are horrible. Bullying happens on a day to day basis for me, so I usually go someplace quiet like the library, or even the toilets when they aren’t being hoarded by a group of nasty people. The bad behaviour system is terrible; Somebody pulled off a girl’s headscarf and got ONE in-school suspension. A troublesome kid who causes grief for many students was about to get kicked out of school, had to bribe the admin with a stack of money and they’re still attending the school. (They still harass me)
The canteen food is extremely overpriced - for example, two chicken tenders are $4.50 and a lipton would be $4.00 when the iga across the road would have a larger bottle for $1.
However I did get a few free cookies, so thanks :-)
