Don’t send your kids there

They don’t care about mental health, bullying, student’s futures. 5 years ago when I was still there I was assaulted and ganged up on by a group of 15+ girls in the toilets and was threatened to be suspended and even with all the cameras around the school they “couldn’t do anything” and “had no proof.” You just get suspended they don’t do anything to actually fix or help the problem that led to the suspension. Do better. Find another school to send your kids too

In my time there i was not offered to go on a single excursion making me not look forward to school in any way

For the young and the brave... beerwah state high

I enjoyed lunch and some of the industrial teachers but that's about it... if I use incorrect grammar or spelling please forgive me as I was not taught how to use it properly. Some of the teachers I've had were very nice and eager to teach us but most of them didn't take their job very seriously we were told in math to solve the problem on the board then do 20 others on our own the wrest of the lesson whilst the teacher sat on their computer playing coolmathgames

If you want to go to a school to do nothing this place is perfect

Beerwah State High School is the worst schools i’ve been to. I am an ex student of BSHS, I left the school only after a year due to the lack of teaching there was. The whole time I was there I was never given a piece of homework, nor did a teacher teach me properly. I started at BSHS as an A standard student and left barely able to pass. This was due to having a teaching crisis; either, a teacher would complain about their pay and chose not to teach, the inability to teach or just trying to live their teenage years through other children. Countless of times I went to a class, where the teacher hadn’t planned a lesson, and were told to go outside and play handball instead. Through out my time I began to understand that there were several drug dealers even as young as 14, trying to sell pills etc. Also, during my ‘educational’ journey at BSHS my mental health rapidly declined due to the feeling of knowing i’m behind and would not achieve as well as just the school opposite. Unfortunately half of these issues aren’t caused by the school it’s self but the government’s ridiculous schooling system which leaves the school obviously defunded. Ultimately, parents stay away from Beerwah State High School unless you would like to bring up a delinquent or someone who has the brains but isn’t able to use them due to the lack of care and support from staff.
