Horrible school, teachers don't often pick on me when my hand is raised up high for what feels like hours.
Hated Drama Camp, left me with more trauma then the actual school itself.
BCC is doing an excellent job in promoting academic success for high school students. Its ATAR, TAFE, Drama, and A+ programs all contribute towards a high-achieving ideal.
Additionally, the school has several disability focused programs to ensure the success of its students who ask for extra help, without judgement.
The school uniform policy is firm (detention is issued for dress code violations), considering it is a low soc-ec public school, but makes for a strong, unified appearance.
Unfortunately, the school also fails where it should succeed.
Student morale is low; teachers are few; cleanliness is a struggle; fights are frequent; and, despite encouraging students who are already aiming for success, the school does little to encourage and support students who do not yet have those goals. It leads to a large gap between 'general' and 'ATAR' students in their final yeard that promotes bullying (on both sides).
Overall, this school was a neutral experience for me. I cannot say the same for my peers, but I know that my time at BCC was one of many highs and lows.
They have a range of specialist program to offer , I especially like drama it's fun , socialising and you get to go on camps . The school is very disability friendly and has lots of E As to help students. Their canteen is good but doesn't haveay gluten free and vegaterian options .
There is quite a bit of problems with students misbehaving and have drama also the have a large bullying problem but most teachers deal with it.also not the cleanest school ever.
