Fundamentally, a great school.
I attended this school from grade 8 through to grade 12 and, for what I can say, my experience was quite good! After a rough first couple years (and after battling the typical grade 8/9 phases and groups) I found my way into the school community and formed lasting bonds with my teachers and fellow peers over the course of my senior schooling. One key phrase that I have uncovered through my time in school however - for better or for worse - is that education and thriving academically really is a choice… it’s really up to you to fundamentally build yourself academically and as a person, and Brisbane Bayside State College does brilliantly to support you as such and where required. Fundamentally, BBSC is a great school, and it is really up to the individual to take the most out of the available facilities and resources to get re most out of their secondary schooling experience.
