The view, canteen food, Mr Jennings, Mr Reynolds, Ms spencer. The female sports teachers and the drama and dance teacher plus very few others are the only good thing about this school. I don’t get why they’re so surprised every year when so many pupils leave to go to MANEA. Majority of the staff treat even the upper school students like children, and do not know how to handle conflict and drama. Most Teachers have no respect for the students and wonder why they receive no respect back.
Honestly a terrible school. Fights and drama constantly with teachers who have no idea how to handle it. Because of the behavioural issues present in the younger grades all the students are treated like year 7’s (12-13 years old) when they’re in year 10-12. expectations for academic success are low but expectations for attendance and conformity to the rules that don’t help education are high. Student services are always rushed and are never helpful, if you go in there sick they doubt your capabilities to know your own body and basically refuse to let you leave 50% of the time even if you are feeling really unwell, circling back to the point that everyone there is treated like a child and not a young adult, especially in their senior years. Some of the teachers are good at educating their students, others do nothing but yell at the classes they have for simply talking. I witnessed two teachers on seperate occasions scream the entire class for and then leave for the rest of the period. Also had a teacher make incredibly inappropriate, s*xually explicit remarks and jokes about a relationship i was in when i was only 15 years old (younger than the age of consent). A few of the older male teachers have a reputation for being creepy towards the females in their classes and i myself experienced this also.
