mid. mid to bad honestly. i’m glad i’m quite an independent learner and can manage the decisions by myself and appreciate how flexible the school is, that being said if you are interested in an academic environment this is not the place for you. there are some absolutely amazing and knowledgeable teachers although most of them seem to be replaced by fresh-out-of-uni staff which is great for them and younger students alike, as you get closer to VCE years it appears to be a disadvantage as they don’t have much experience in diverse topics. the small school size makes it really easy to get to know everyone but you don’t exposed to a diverse range of people and opportunities as well as miss out on things such as sport and other extracurricular activities. would recommend if you are looking for a very relaxed education plan but if you are wanting to go into VCE (not VCE-VM), or really not get an addiction to vapes, i would look for other schools. was fun though.
I told the teachers about how I was suicidal and harming myself multiple times a day on school grounds and all they did was have a 2 minute "chat" with me every couple of months. Do not go if you want to get better because they could not gaf abt you
Decent for vce.
Student culture is not bad, no physical fights happen or anything like that.
Not much on the education front though due to "deep learning' basically students sit in a classroom on Google during these classes no proper teaching.you can pretty much pass any class by setting a cardboard sword on fire.
No actual history class, science equipment is old and a bit dodgy (updates are to the sports or technology facilities)
Once you spend 2 years playing games and watching Netflix on your computer you usually go into vce- just thrown in to learn everything for that module plus what was not taught in prior years.
Wonderful English department though, practically what is holding the sanity of everyone i know together.
