Kind of a shit school really, they force strict uniform policy on us and we cant even wear a different colour sock, they want to look good on the out side but really it’s absolutely shit

I’ve definitely heard of worse schools in terms of facilities and teachers, however the problems between students at this school is near unrivalled i haven’t met a single person here that wasn’t socially inept or just rude, due to the heavily middle class population of this school everyone here seems to have developed some kind of god complex and by that i mean they all have no problem with verbally abusing, harassing, bullying or physically attacking anyone who even slightly invokes a response in them. Theft is insane at this school and there’s a generally toxic environment for everyone who has a social life here, as well as rampant homophobia, sexism and racism between students of all year levels. Not ideal for anyone who isn’t an eshay.

teachers don’t care abt mental health. if ur behind, that’s on u, they don’t really help out and continue on with the work. There are teachers that use poor teaching methods . Every single lesson can be a powerpoint and taking down notes. Call that teaching?? There are teachers who hate their job and it shows during the lessons. Some teachers are teachers in the VCE level that can’t even teach.At the end of the day u teach urself. Smth good about the single is that i’ve seen one single teacher that would offer and give his time during lunch. That’s it. Canteen food is expensive for no reason. Some classrooms don’t have a door fin order to be a more “collaborative” space but all they do is have students be distracted by other students walking past or high noise levels during their sacs and class time.
After you are in yr 10, you don’t have many excursions. Overall they are sooooo cheap with excursions and camps.
Also waiting till i won’t have to ask permission to go to the bathroom. The teacher has control over when i pee?
