The school has definite bias and descrimination against students it doesn't like. My daughter in year 8 had an actual average maths score over the year of 80.4% lowered by one poor result where she was injured due ot an acident and couldn't study, otherwise it would have been 83%. The school maths teachers said irt was 79.4% therefore she hadtp go into the lower grade classthat would mean she could not do the higher maths methods at year 11 and 12. Lets just put a stdent down for the whole school life because they had a bad tes in year 8 and the teachers cannot work out a correct average. They have also put her in a class with a girl that bit her just help improve her mental health during class. Repeated requests for meetings and to get a change resulted in nothing. Not Christian, not very good at maths and totally stuck in victorian punishment and class system.
Do not send your daughter here unless they are very academic. They don’t waste effort on other children, especially if your child needs to do VM, our experience with VCE VM was very poor. Teachers were often absent or changed pretty frequently, interviews were a waste of time, just a box ticking exercise. Everything is created to get more students to pay for new buildings. Terrible experience
Would not send my children there. The nuns were horrible and we had a paedophile as a priest who was disgusting Father Baker. Thank God he is dead. He was a horrible man . None of us would say anything as the nuns thought he was fantastic. No help with career decisions.
My experience at the school so far has mediocre at most. They have great facilities, and an average wellbeing program, but the manner in which they structure academics and extracurriculars are awful. The school gives WAY too much homework, and expects students to also participate in many extracurriculars at the same time. They are much too strict on uniform, and are awful with discipline. They aren’t understanding, or very inclusive. Overall not a good school.
