The school implements really strict rules like phone pouches, toilet passes ect which makes me as an older student feel like they don’t respect or trust me and has worsened my experience at the school, especially over the past year. The lack of trust has really affected my school experience overall and it doesn’t feel like a good environment to be in, especially being an art student seeing as we barely have any funding or proper facilities to create things to our full potential and it affects our scores in VCE especially.
I've been to the local public high aswell, they did more for my mental health and well being then this absolute trash heap.
I've been at crc/st francis since year seven and its proven time and time again that it has no regard for its students beyond their grades and reputation. I was once suspended for three days for no reason, they didn't even ask to hear what I had to say in my defense.
A teacher found out about me self harming and I was told the school "couldn't help" me as I didn't want to see one of the psychologists (shes known to break student's confidentiality and literally just sat there and nodded).
Overall horrible school, the bullying is horrendous- almost as bad as the local high.
Horrible school they did nothing to help me with anything. They said I was going to get counseling through the school but that took nearly the full year and when they got me it they gave me a food tech teacher. They don’t teach well and the teachers aren’t the best. Not worth paying the 4K or however much it is a year for the school where the education isn’t any good.
terrible school with phone pouches that do nothing but make students break rules more, ruined my first days by changing almost everything to “get us out our comfort zone” but i’m getting more introverted every single day
teachers that need to do better, some are ok but most need to treat students with respect
teachers wonder why they get treated so horribly- because the students are treated horribly . staff at this school do not care for their students as much as they should- they care about nails more than mental health.
instead of focusing on what brings students confidence (appearance) start focusing on those who actually need help are trying to reach out
Horrible school. Started out in year 7 and was getting bullied and raped everyday by a student, went to teachers about it and they did nothing. The school psychologist was a horrible person who ruined people’s property. Overall do not recommend. People who have went there have been effected badly from bullying from students and/or staff.
