As per usual, the problem is the tyrants up top
Honestly, as a student who has been here for a few years now, the school is very meh. A lot of the staff are absolutely amazing people who do genuinely care about their students, despite how difficult they may be sometimes. I won’t say that the school has the best learning resources, I mean for one of my subjects I achieved one of the highest grades that the school has ever received and I only got that because I blatantly ignored and disregarded the schools materials and used resources from other schools (though ofc the school will still take the credit).
My major issue is the schools senior leadership structure and how self-centred they are. Myself and most of the people I know feel like little more than numbers and figures on a spreadsheet to them and any promises they do make to amend the many issues the students consistently bring up is little more than blatant virtue signalling. We have a student voice team but they’re yet to do anything worthwhile apart from the occasional mediocre event or whatever. I wouldn’t say don’t send your kids here as a lot of the staff (at least in my experience) are very patient and very supportive, but definitely consider other options if you want your kid to be respected by senior leadership.

please shut this school down or change it a lot
My experience with this school was very very very bad. the staff are always acting like they have the best interest in the student and their learning but u can clearly tell from actions and words they really do not. they dismiss a lot of things said and reported, don’t take action, and are sometimes so rude. the students are another story. most people there made me feel horrible for being me, and like i could never fit in. i felt alienated in the classroom and since i’ve moved schools i’ve felt so much better. i regret choosing this school as my first high school.
Truth to christies beach highschool.
This school might be in the top 5 worst schools in Adelaide, They had to get security guards as kids were and still are being bashed everyday of the school week on school property. We've had police come to our school on multiple occasions and we have a high number in bullying and fighting. There has been a lot of sexual assaults as well including to me and when reported nothing was done. Yet they suspended me for wearing black trackpants instead of the navy blue uniform pants. Teachers don't get involved in issues and try there best to not resolve any conflicts or issues. There are so many students that vape and smoke and teachers don't care. It's so bad and such a toxic place makes every student depressed asf. If you can go to another school do!!
Christie’s beach hs can be shit
Well my opinion the school isn’t too bad but the principal , vice principals and some teachers there are horrible they care too much about uniform when not everyone can pay for it it’s not hard to let us wear at least navy pants without the logo oml and we can’t wear leggings either like bro and the phone rule is just stupid some people get scared and bad anxiety and need there phone on them so liek fuck that school
Don't even bother
If I could give 0 stars I would. The staff are so rude and not understanding. I have austism, they don't even bother trying to help you. If you have autism at that school you might as well drop out cause they're going to leave you go fail anyway.

The school hygiene though, I'll be honest, terrible, but I myself do not use the toilets so it does not effect me.
The canteen is also a bit overpriced but the food is good, I would want it to go down in price though. $1.80 for one popsicle? Colour me surprised.
