Cosgrove High School

Needs improvement. Personally, the staff need to be able to listen and take in students opinions, and feelings whether they disagree with it
Or agree. What us students say should be taken in consideration. That’s one thing Cosgrove lacks, out of many things. I try and express to a teacher of mine they just talk overtop of me and make me feel like my opinion is irrelevant or something that shouldn’t be expressed. I’ve had a teacher call me lazy because I expressed how I was feeling mentally, and I was open and honest about it. I didn’t feel that I was safe at school, that school was meant to be my escape but it’s turn’t into a place that I want to escape.
It either goes from a student getting verbally bullied online, to that student going to the teachers about it, to that student getting even more bullied, to end up being bashed because that TEACHER or STAFF member didn’t do their job properly and didn’t reassure that student that they were going to be safe and haven’t proven it. The bully gets a two day suspension, then they are back at school like nothing happened. Crazy hey? The staff always take the bullies side, n always turns it back on the victim that continues to get questioned on how it started… such a safe and comforting environment hey?. Oh and not to mention.. vaping also, toilets should have vape smoke alarms, and fire alarms high enough so students cannot disalarm them. One student per toilet run, stuff like that. For example, there’s a childcare class that has a bathroom connected to that class room, one toilet inside n a change table. I seen 5 girls go in that toilet when the teachers back was turnt and who knows what they were doing, vaping? Smoking? Because from my view seemed like they were going in for a choof. IN A FREAKING CHILDCARE CLASS?! Are you kidding me? There’s also no camera in that one classroom, myself and a few others have requested for one to be placed inside that class, and definitely a fire alarm/vape detector. Who would want their child around that? Disgusting. Do better. I could call out a lot of things, but I am hoping someone sees this to be able take this into consideration.

School should never be a place students are wanting to run from. Cosgrove needs to pull its head in. No wonder we have such a bad reputation. Nothing is being done about it all.
I’ll say it again, and for one last time. DO BETTER. I’m old enough to recognise these issues and call them out. :)

School is okay, teachers are shitty though

There have been so many incidence’s where teachers have ended up being pedophiles. There have been multiple, Some-what well known rapists that have attended the school, and in my opinion (which I’m sure many people would agree with) there’s only 1-2 good teachers. The teachers constantly pick favourites and they never show any respect but they expect to be respected back. Also a side note, the free recess and lunch they provide has made me VOMIT.

So many ugly ass eshays but apart from that it’s okay I say we get rid of the eshays the old fashioned way the ELECTRIC CHAIR
