Attended this school for 4-5 years. Developed heavy religious trauma from my experiences here. Constantly receiving punishments for voicing personal opinions in class. Detentions, After school detentions and suspensions were handed out to those who spoke up about controversial topics in class. Multiple hours worth of lunch times were stolen, simply to attempt to change personal opinions covering abortions, women’s rights and homosexuality. Amongst these, the lack of mental health was the worst. Many students suffered from depression, anxiety, panic attacks and severe self harm, teachers and employed staff refused to address these issues. The only support provided was to be prayed for and that sums it up. No matter the situation you will either be academically punished, given a detention or prayed for. Students were never a first priority. HEAVLY religious school, no exceptions for any other religious views excepted. Do not recommend, especially for girls. This school (if i can call it that) is not for you.
I could never voice my own opinion, we learnt only about Christianity and nothing else, it w as brought into every subject.
I got threatened with suspension for having a panic attack, only shown their views and no others - taught that every other view was wrong. No room to grow at this school, options were EXTREMELY limited. All in all a bit of a cult.
