I’ve been attending Creek Street for 4 years and boy am I excited to leave. The college has recently added an IB building for the year 10-12s but it is horrible. There are only 2 toilets in the entirety of the building and if we were to ask for permission to use other toilets on the college grounds, the teacher would say no as we are allocated to these toilets specifically. I am also disgusted about how teachers go about handling little situations. They will make their minds up after hearing one side to the story, and if they happened to listen to the other parties, they would quickly dismiss what they have to say. When teachers try to talk to students such as myself, they shout in our faces and if we try to share our opinion on the matter being discussed, we would be told we were “talking back”. It’s also been said on many occasions that we aren’t allowed to go home and tell our parents what has happened in these discussions and we have to tell the principal instead, which is absolutely absurd. There have been times where we would have iPad checks to make sure we don’t have photos in our school uniform, but on one instance, a teacher took it upon themselves to read my personal messages between other students and myself from two years prior to the time which is completely unnecessary and wrong for obvious privacy reasons. Creek street has been such a horrible experience for me and for many others I have had the chance to discuss such events with. I wish the best in the college for the upcoming years and I really hope for everyone staying and coming into the college, that they change. Jk, I hate this school. I hope it burns
