The teachers treated me very badly at Glen Eira College, I was sexually harassed by some of them. I was also bullied by other students and they did nothing, the school doesn't care about its students, they only care about looking good.
This is the most afoul school it’s disgusting, the way they treat students and parents is beyond believe. They don’t care about the students education nor about the students. I DONT RECOMMeND ANYoNE SeND ThEy CHILD THERE!!!!!!
Sending your kids here could jeopardise their education
Don’t send your kids here.
The school administration brushes things aside and ignores concerns raised by students. Many parts of the school are in need of repair and it is quite a toxic environment. They are making no effort to stop the toxicity present at this school. I don’t think I would’ve passed last year without my tutors. They also lock the toilets at certain times or if they feel like it it seems. So you have to go to another floor if you need to go to the toilet but sometimes all of them have been locked.
I think this school offers good opportunities for students. It has areas that it can improve on but the teachers are nice and make learning interesting.
Glen Eira College, a breeding ground for bad experiences
Started at this school with hopes and dreams, imagining that high school would be the time of my life. Those dreams were instantly ripped to shreds. In my first week there I witnessed year sevens screaming slurs, calling teachers names, bullying those teachers online, bullying me and many other classmates and even using elicit substances on school grounds. Things only got worse from there. Not only were the children foul, the teachers were unable to hold a class or teach anything. My experience there led to many mental illness developing after only being there for six months. After two years in that miserable place, I finally escaped the bullying.
Honestly the school creates an unsafe environment for people. The staff is rude and way too strict about sock colour, not understanding that some poorer students go to the school. It’s also an overall toxic environment for all the female students, with all their peers being sexist, gymrats that can’t learn to share any space with others. There’s also just not a place to put concerns in without directly speaking to a teacher. The school in general is just a ‘ghetto’ school in a richer area.
