i found the place very up-themselves in general. they care way too much about blazers and socks and jumpers than student wellbeing and the culture of the school from a student perspective. they essentially refuse to acknowledge the racism/sexism/homophobia etc. and naively pretend the culture is wonderful and inclusive. there also was a rumour (not confirmed but not surprising) the principal also refused to allow a library review of lgbtqia+ novels for pride month in the school newsletter due to the opinions of parents and conflicting religions that may not support it- very poor take considering they have supportive posters around and aim on being inclusive. fees are also rising due to gov. cuts to private schools so that's another thing to consider- personally i dont think its worth it if theres a possibility of sending your children to other schools in your area. (hint: the new school down the road)
this being said they have some wonderful teachers who are worth their weight in gold and genuinely care for students. these teachers are the redeeming quality of this school.
