While I was only at Highlands for a few months, I was rather disappointed with the school. They do not prepare kids for the real world at all. They don’t do anything about bullying. Favoritisme happens way too much at this school. If you are liked by the teachers, if you have good grades for example. You could do drugs in the bathrooms or bully someone else and get off with no punishment. But if another student were to do the same, one who was not “favoured” by the teachers, they would get expelled.
it was a good school but they where bad at handling situations. Mainly always made the victim the perpetrator and then they would get into trouble. I personally had some issues and they just brushed passed them and said “don’t hang out with them” and that was it. Teachers are friendly but they pick on you a lot about how u present urself. An earring the size of a pea isn’t aloud in this school it needs to be smaller as in you can’t see it or just don’t wear any at all.
