I attended Hills College Years 10-12. This was the final high school I attended after moving around because of bullying. This school doesn’t tolerate bullying at all. I made 1 report to my year coordinator on a student bullying me on the bus and he was given 1 chance to discontinue the behaviour or risk expulsion. I truly felt safe at this school.
Before attending I my grades were basic and I was failing in mathematics. It turned out mathematics was my best subject, I just needed teachers that were respectful and a class of students that were interested in learning. My grade in math went from non participation to a B+ average.
Another great aspect at this school is the diversity, teachers from different parts of the world come here to teach and students from different parts of the world come to learn. This school was more than simply an educational institution, it is a community.
I felt safe and respected at Hills College, my mother works in retail and managed to put me through this school, it is affordable with some sacrifice if you are aren’t wealthy, however it is definitely worth it for your child to access education in a safe and respectful environment.
Other information:
*School grounds are beautiful, well presented. Golf is an available subject to learn on the Hills Golf Course.
*School also has multiple ovals, tennis courts and a community garden.
*School has a long driveway, so your students are approximately 1km away from the road and highway, no distractions from traffic noise.
