Immanuel was a learning journey for me. I found almost all the teachers to be smart, but not have much of a clue in how to connect and teach students. This proves it hard to learn in classes. Whilst at the school I experienced other students from around the world (exchange students from Honk Kong, Germany etc) being bullied and put down by their peers. The teachers did not do anything about it, to say the least it was sad to whiteness it and made me dislike many people at the school. These same experiences were shared with kids who were different with their sexuality or gender. Although I had a bad experience at the school there were also a few perks. The school was widely diverse and they have an amazing respect for the First Nations people, the school is kept neat and tidy and is always presented well, and the Principal Mr Kevin Richardson was an amazing and humble man, with amazing stories and a positive attitude. Just wish his staff and students could have learnt a thing or two from him :)
