While the teachers make a great effort to support students in their studies and help them achieve, the rest of the school does not do the same. With toilets being locked due to vaping, and students being unable to access them in the mornings, afternoons or between classes, there are some serious issues here. Even after protest from students desperately waiting to use these facilities, teachers simply walk past and do not care. The school is a dictatorship, and does not meet the needs of even half the school. Disrespect is rife within this community, as well as toxic behaviours from students towards others.
mostly good teachers, bad principal, lack of activities and not as many subjects available as most schools, lots of areas underfunded while unimportant stuff is funded.
The school overall seemed welcoming and good. however inside was a different story. Our only appointed counsellor was Catholic so when myself and other students needed help it would often just revert to Jesus and God being the answer to all mental health problems. Teachers were okay however there just wasn't a lot of resources physical and emotional guidance were low. Students were all treated so differently. Some were able to go on excursions for free whereas some couldn't attend due to their bill being to high. It is a public school and learning should be free. It made me sad to be treated differently just because my parents couldn't afford things. Bullying rate was really high and teachers often did nothing about it. When it got to much I retaliated against the bullies and got suspended all for finally standing up for myself because my issues weren't being heard.
The teachers don't care about the students.
Instead of focusing on kids who wag and cape amd make a bad reputation for the school they focus on and suspend kids who don't wear a plane black jumper
The take year 22 general teachers out of class to teach year 8 students.
Teachers try to be friends with the kids and don't help kids who actually need it unless they like them
