The school is okay

Overall my experience at James Sheahan was not very good, bullying is happening every day, my worst experience was when my property got damaged and thrown into the boys toilet, besides the students being horrible, most of the teachers were great but there was some favouritism if you played sports, if i had my time again I would've gone to a different school from the start, now that I have changed school's I am far happier.

Great school, but major changes and/or improvement needed

Overall the school is pretty alright. They’re definitely working on improving the outdated spaces, however it’s reaching the point where they just focus on making it bigger, rather than focusing on student needs and maintaining spirit. Most teachers are great with a few interesting characters, the temp relieving principal is wayyyyy better than the original. Also wanna point out that there is still a major vaping and bullying/harassment issue with few safe spaces or sense of security out of the classroom, and diocese wokeness really killed a heap of fun events and traditions; but the new phone policies are doing really well so shout out for that.

Bullying zone

This school is full of vapers!! Teachers who don’t understand! Students who bully or are getting bullied! They don’t help. The school council does not stop the bullying they just make kids think more about the stress when they’re talking about it to them!! The work assigned makes stress even more worse! Teenagers need a break a two week holiday is not enough to get teenagers mental health back up top it takes longer. So if you’re going to do it. Do it right.

Ass school

They do not care about your well-being at all. 💀 It really not a good school and i really wouldn’t recommend it. The teachers pick favourites, you get in trouble for the most stupidest things, and wayy more. There are many down grading teachers.

It’s an alright school.

This school is good, they do have high expectations for some students whilst also having no expectations for others. Favouritism is present at this school “oh you do rep sports, that’s fine u can ignore the dresscode” “you do drama, you see… the rules are thre to be followed and unfortunately u didn’t follow them. This will be going on compass.” Some teachers here are amazing others don’t even show up. How am I supposed to learn if my teacher doesn’t show up? So send your child here. The education is alright, the teachers are alright. Nothing special. What is good about this that there is many events to get involved with. Also teachers don’t take punishment serious enough and let students off after they have said the most racist messed up stuff, but will give you a compass entry if your wearing a cross necklace… at a catholic school.
