This is from 2018-2019 when I was there so the school might have changed but this is something to note before anyone decides to go there or send their children there. This is my experience so I am sure there are plenty of other different experiences with this school.
I was in year for in a 3-4 composite class this was the 4th school I had been to I have moved around a lot in my life for various reasons. When I went to look at the school it stood out from other school in the area because everyone seem very nice and said hello as we went on the tour.
I had short hair at the time and from the first day I went to school I was in out of school hours club in the morning and then a particular group of boys from my class started making fun of me and said that I was I boy I was born female and identify is female. They could tell I was upset by this so they kept doing it and this lasted for the wholetime I was there it even started to turn into physical violence. I had started to notice that many people at the school had no concept of respect for woman and many other girls where having similar experiences even worse than mine and this made me feel protective over the other students so I decided to speak to the staff members I had many meetings with them regarding this and no one took Andy real action on this in fact many of them went far enough to say that the victims must have been making it up or motivating the bullies in some way. I unfortunately this spread outside of my grade and younger students started acting out as well by throwing rocks and causing injuries. I ended up leaving and am still unsure as to what strategies are in place to stop this behaviour. I really hope that this school improves and turns into a place of learning and making friends not a place of violence.
