Glad to have found a good Islamic school in the hills area.
My two sons Go to Malek Fahs in Beaumont hills. My elder is in grade 7 now and the younger is in grade 2. I have found the primary school to be a good starting point for the kids. My younger son has been learning Islamic studies, Quran and overall the Islamic way of life. The studies are also good, though not top notch. This is a compromise I have made since kids spend most of the time at school, so they need to be in an Islamic environment. The teachers are a mixed lot. Some are outstanding and some are good. There are a few exceptions as well, but that is true for any school. The best part of the school are the Sheikhs. They are super friendly and are all kids' favourite.
As for the high school, there are some challenges. For this year, they are only offering 2 electives, which I think are not enough. The students, who have graduated from high school to date, have all gotten admissions in universities. So, its not that bad. But I do intend to move my son to a good public high school in year 9. Having said that, it is also important to mention here that my elder son has taken 3 Naplan tests in this school. The school average scores are well above national average.
Overall, I am very happy that my kids get to pray in school and come back home to tell me all about the prophets and Islamic way of life.
Do not go Malek Fahd Islamic School Beaumount Hills
I will be completely honest. Most people there are not nice. Dont get misinformed just because they are an Islamic school. Many kids there sell vapes and do vapes. Even after suspension. The facilities are not appropriate and the school is not good at all. The teachers are okay, the learning environment is not really. I hope they do better in other campuses but this school is a MAJOR not recommended. As a student for 5 years at this school, please do not send your child here. Other schools are better, I promise. Even if you are a Muslim child like I am, do not. Thank you and best of luck to those other students!!
the teachers do not care about education at all and are more concerned about telling you how evil gay people are and defending the boys when they do anything bad there’s about 3 people in a vape involved incident right now all separate and the schools not gonna do anything about it because they don’t have enough students as is not to mention how the teachers pick favourites and defend them with their lives no matter how much evidence is stacked against them in any situation and the school cares more about the uniform than whether you’re gonna go home and kill yourself
