The school was full of teachers and administration and nursing staff that were bullies. Principal swept everything under the carpet. My daughter came home in tears most days for six years
year seven. She was happy for a period of time and the rest went downhill very fast. there was never any encouragement. There was never any support. It was always a students fault never the teachers lack of empathy and professionalism
from wet fish handshakes at year 12 graduation ceremony when students receive their badges There was no congratulations just snarly comments picking on their uniform
homeroom teachers. That were there supposed to be kind and caring with bullies and narcissist. HSC assessment tasks were tampered with and those issues were brushed under the carpet only to favour the brighter kids in the class and when we brought it to their attention, they tried to turn it around that we were just imagining things LOL. Everything was documented.
constant harassment and belittling by teachers to my daughter to the pointe other girls in the school yard would even make comment about how much that teacher hated her …disgusting school. The only teachers that were good here with the maths teachers. They seem somewhat happy and kind and considerate and enthusiastic and nurturing everything. The rest of the school should aspire to be like but didn’t they are more worried about their reputation then actually caring for the girls no wonder they are leaving year 10 to go to Oak Hill don’t be fooled by the exterior or the condescending conversations you will have with staff the reception staff and nursing staff extremely rude aggressive and unprofessional. I have nothing good to say about this school.
And it was only until year 12 that we actually read Google reviews on this school and realise it was not our imagination. It was a systemic problem that will not go away overnight unless it’s addressed in the whole school has a shake up to wake up.
Don’t put your kid in the school unless you want a very unhappy scarred child
It’s alright but the teachers need to leave us (the students) alone, my friend has a charm on for her religious beliefs and a RELIGION teacher took it off her. And the other rules suck. But the education is alright. The lady’s at the canteen were awful when I was there and my cousin said it’s really expensive and low quality
extra curricular is too expensive. teachers dont care about mental health. fees are so high and dont seem to go anywhere except new lockers. english department needs improvement. lots of really old unhelpful teachers. lazy teachers constantly nagging you about your kilt and hair and jewellery. some teachers are really good though and im glad the ones i dont like have to go to staff development days when im snoozing at home
As a yr 7 at bennies the staff don’t look after you and they don’t care ab ur mental health but there is some nice teachers but all of the teachers give u homework and if u don’t finish it u will get a detention and even if someone u know does they don’t care so i do not recommend going here and they only care ab ur learning
Not good!! Wowza currently a student and this school is good. The facilities are good and most of the teachers are super cool like the English and math facility has some funny cool teachers. But the actual school environment and other student are TERRIBLE. Wow it is really the stereotype of every Catholic girl school. Vapes in bathrooms, highschool drama and depression 💗💗 all my favourite definately. Getting bullied at school also dosent stop there like I've gotten stalked online by popular girls and called multiple names. Teachers don't believe you and don't care and the ones that do are people with ultimately no power. They act like they care by giving seminars and stuff about mental health but when my group confronts teachers about how we are bullied and they tell us to cope.
Doesn’t acknowledge anyone until senior years. Limited extra curriculars. Maths faculty is quite good though. Students are limited and aren’t prepared to enter the labour market.
Coming from a bad environment at my old school, at Bennies I was able to become my own person and make true friends. Teachers are generally really nice although some aren’t great as they’re teaching styles are ineffective. But overall really great as I felt more confident and happy in myself going to Bennies.
