Narrandera High School

The only thing worse than the unfortunate statistic-driven attitudes of the most recent principals, is the lack of teachers. While the PDHPE department has a strong team of longterm teachers, the English department is in desperate need of passion, commitment, and an actual knowledge of literature. Further, students completing the HSC are forced to do compressed curriculum which decreases their chances of actually absorbing information before final exams. If we are to have a sustainable form of education in country towns, we need the country students to receive education that teaches them its own importance. Currently, there is no value placed on it. A better quality (and number) of teachers across the departments at Narrandera High may actually inspire students to listen and grow, preventing the discouragement that results from poor teaching. So many times did I wish I could speak up about issues while at the school, but knew I would be shut down.

I hate so much.
-3 reasons below-

1)The teachers basic stand up at the front of the class and make you write paragraphs and explain it when you writing it and you get nothing out of it (Not all)

2)When you're only time to go to the bathroom is throughout period because of the amount of vapers in it a recess and lunch

3)The drama that the school has a everybody who at in the wave trying so hard to get on it then the big mouth people walk around telling everybody and the one in the drama say they're going to fight but don't leave all the one who wants to see a fight annoyed even if the one who wants to see can fight the person themselves and they go up to the person and be like you pussy you should have bashed them.

This school is bullshit, the teachers don’t help you learn anything. All the kids are bullies and the teachers don’t do nothing about about it. All the school cares about is your uniform not you just your uniform. I’ve been badly bullied and when I went to the principal about it all she did was say “she’ll have a talk with them” (she didn’t) and I’m still getting bullied to this day. The PE teachers act like little teenage girls, they gossip about kids and other teachers and even get children involved in there drama. They lock the toilets all day so you have to walk around the whole school to find a teacher with the key, I’ve almost bled through my pants because of it. I’ve needed to go to the toilet so badly and asked the teacher if I could go and she said “no you should’ve gone at recess” I’m sorry I can’t control my bladder. There’s only one good teacher at the school, he actually helps me with work, talks to me about what I’m gonna do after school and I even talk to him about my problems with school and home life, if I was to do that with any other teacher I’d get yelled at and I’m not even joking, I’ve had teachers swear at me because I didn’t understand the work. I’m one PE class this girl said she couldn’t play because she had her period, the teacher then went to some of the students and started laughing and making fun of the girl. A cleaner lady bashed a kid. A teacher was messaging a student, a teacher hit a kid and they still have him hired to this day. A girls got sexually assaulted at school by a boy and the teachers blamed the girl for it cause she was wearing leggings, a teacher makes girls feel uncomfortable cause he stared at girls breast and bums. This school is not a good school it’s so toxic, I do not recommend sending your kids here or if you do have kids here send them to a different school

The teachers don’t help you learn anything, and they like to send students to TAFE instead.
