Narrogin Senior High School

The principal at this school needs to be removed she does not deal with any situation that may arise and will always blame the students avoid anything that may have happened which involves a teacher my daughter got assaulted buy a teacher who threw a piece of wood at her. Now previous to this incident that same teacher had been bullying my daughter to the point where sometimes she was in tears yes my daughter is no angel but she is definitely not a little brat either so I told my daughter two voice record any incident that may arise so there is proof that my daughter was being bullied it just happened to be that same day that this teacher through a piece of wood at her which was clearly heard on the voice recording she was rude to my daughter had no time and no respect for her whatsoever when this was brought to the principles' attention she refused to listen to the recording and all she was worried about was the fact that my daughter had her phone on her which was in her pocket the whole time not once you pull her phone out while she was in the classroom after explaining to the principle that I was not happy and that we could deal with her having her phone on her after we have dealt with the fact that my daughter got assaulted by a teacher she then got very defensive and refused to speak about it anymore and all she kept going on about was what punishment my daughter would receive. Last week my daughter got locked in a classroom without consent after the class had finished and the rest of the kids had left after asking the teacher to let her out which the teacher then refused again and having another teacher come to the door demanding that this teacher who locks my daughter in the classroom without consent to open the door more than twice she finally opens the door as a mother of course I saw red I was upset so I went straight to the high school only to have the principal come in sit between myself and my daughter turn her back to me and not acknowledged me at all. She said to my daughter that she will let her know once the issue has been resolved and the outcome I then had to ask her when would I be contact and told what the end result will be only for her to reply with umm maybe tomorrow. My reply was ok I will be here first thing in the morning and I will wait for you to come and see me and let me know how the outcome was for her to turn around and say no you won't be here I then said yes I will why can't I be and who reply was because she wouldn't be there in the morning she is rude arrogant and narcissistic. I have the full voice recording of that meeting and not once did I raise my voice not once did I threaten her but then I receive a letter which can't even be dropped off by her she had to get her staff members to deliver it saying that I now have a prohibition order from the school for 80 days which meaning I am now banned from school premises for 80 days which I am looking into through the education department. I will be taking this further she does not deserve to be an authority figure for these young children especially when she does more bullying than what the children do.

I attended Narrogin Senior High school from year 7 (on and off) to the end of term 1, year 11. It would be an understatement to call this school horrible.
I had a history of getting bullied, getting told the world would be better without me and that I should end my life. I reported this to the school on MULTIPLE occasions and got told to “build resilience”.
The teachers believe that poor mental health is no excuse to be “slacking off” and that if I’m really ‘that bad’ I should be in a hospital getting real help. (I did go)
The Principal, Sandii Stankovic, is a narcissistic, selfish, rude, disgusting human being who tells her students that they are not smart or talented enough to achieve their goals. If you want to do ATAR, but have a history of poor mental health, she will tell you with no shame that you are too weak to handle it.
They sugarcoat nothing at this school.
Unless you’re the bully.
Getting bullied doesn’t exist to this school, the staff purposely avoid involving themselves in said situations. Even if it is making the school environment unsafe or uneasy for all students.
They say they “strive to help all students prepare for their futures” but unless you are academically or athletically skilled, you are frowned upon. If you are more creative, such as drama, music, dance etc. The school don’t believe you can have a “real” career from creativity. They claim to have pride in all students achievements. But they will kick you down 10 flights of stairs if that achievement isn’t academic or athletic.
You don’t get help, you don’t get asked if you NEED help.
If you’re struggling, you’re weak. If you need help, you’re weak. If you’re getting bullied to the point you can’t even get out of bed each morning because you’re scared to go to school, you’re weak. And you DO NOT deserve help.

This school is beyond disgusting and I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. The principal has put me, and others through hell and back. Yet is still working there? The student services team DO NOT help the students. Which is their JOB!!! Yet they still work there?
Yes, there are very FEW teachers that make it a better place to be. But in the long run, Narrogin Senior High School is a hostile, unsafe, damaged environment and I have empathy for everyone that couldn’t get out as fast as I did.

Miss Stankovic, you didn’t believe in my abilities, I am now studying at one of the worlds best performing arts universities.
Miss Penny, you didn’t help me when I was ready to end it all. I have real help now and I respect who helps me. I never had respect for you and I never will.

Narrogin Senior High School is the root of my trauma, and it should be knocked to the ground. If I’m weak for needing help. Then what the hell is the point of the school?

I would say my experience there was disappointing…I didn’t have high expectations In The first place but I feel let down.
My teachers were personally very good (except for English and maths)
Students feel unrecognised to the “popular” kids because of the treatment given by teachers. And don’t get me started on the principle, honestly I never met such a rude person in my life I felt like crying. I don’t feel supported or that my interest are taken into consideration.
I’m not saying the school is bad just not the best, idk how to solve the mass problems that occur there.
