I hate this new principal and so does everyone else
This is a small school and a lot of purple with things like autism and anxiety go to this school because of that
It should be a safe space for kids who struggle in larger less accommodating schools
But this principal is only interested in our image
He'll give anyone a detention at the drop of a hat for something as small as accidentally being late or wearing the wrong socks
I am autistic and wear tall rainbows socks that really help me in school and he only started this year but I've gotten a detention every single day because of it
Not that it matters because i don't have any friends
This principal has made it so that only one person can leave at a time but if you get a green card from the well-being office (i think it's the well-being office they haven't told anyone🙄)
You can leave class whenever you want but they didn't give them to people who are autistic or have anxiety or anything like that
You have to ask for them i t h i n k
But i don't know because they haven't told us anything
I only know about them because a kid in my class has one and he is completely neurotypical and disrespects everyone just for the fun of it and only uses his card to leave class early because apparently they haven't put in any rules about it
He can use it as many times as he wants for as long as he wants
They're just lucky he doesn't skip class because he knows they'll take it away if he does
But He doesn't need it because he's been completely fine before it and nothing has changed since he got it
But this principal hasn't made the school better in any way
He's split up the home groups in the start of the day to completely random small groups that just waste time at the start of the day
He has not made the school more organised and one example is none of the detentions I've been to have had any sort of goal or anything to do
The teachers are stretched too thin so they can't show up to anything on time and when they get to detention they aren't given any sheets or anything for the students to do
They just mark the roll and then we all leave
And that's not what's supposed to happen
The principal talks about how much he values every second you spend in class but then he wastes time repeating basically the same speech at way too many assemblies
He has done nothing to help this school and it wasn't even great before but it's now terrible
I would move schools but i have an even lower chance in any other school of being allowed to wear the things that make me comfortable
