Nepean CAPA High School, which is located at the base of the Blue Mountains, is a school that claims that they are “free from bullying, harassment and intimidation of all forms.” This is, in fact vastly different than what actually happens within the school. From violent threats that are left unattended, students mental health concerns being diminished by school councillors and teachers/deputy’s of the school to even more pressing concerns, Nepean is a school that doesn’t care about the well-being of its students if it means telling certain students that they have done wrong. When you hear them say that their school is “the best in the Nepean valley and beyond” it should also be noted that this was a sarcastic remark that has proven to be untrue by a teacher that left the school, saying this before they left as a quick, witty and sarcastic laugh to let his fellow coworkers get one final laugh out of them. Unless you have talent, you hold no value as an individual at this school, and even then, you will more than likely be pushed to the side.
