Nowra Anglican College

i dont know where to start. nac is bad. the students are sheltered beyond belief, causing arrogant and self obsessed behavior, and the teachers don't help. teachers for academically challenged classes talk down to their students, whereas teachers for the more advanced classes assume their students know everything already, and do not teach the material, save for reading the exact print from textbooks they then assign to us with minimal extra help. prices are extreme and im not even sure where my school fees are going, because any extra curricular or extra credit activities cost extra money that some people might not be able to afford, especially with canteen prices as offensively high as they are. for $9000 a year PLUS uniform PLUS extra curriculars PLUS voluntary contribution, i should know where this money is going, besides paying teachers salaries just to have them yell at me for how long my skirt is or how my hair goes past my collar, even though the blouses are nearly completely see through. i could go on about the forced unnecessary religion, the useless periods thrown in like THRIVE or SWISS, the incompetent, creepy teachers, the limited subject range, or the offensively high prices, but i wont (except i just did). anyway i suggent dont go here, but i dont really know or care what you do so bye.

too strict. unreasonable rules about uniform, behaviour and appearance, with unfair punishments. my 100 hour elective was taken away to be replaced by what has ended up being a massive waste of my time. i pay $2000 a term of school fees, yet i still have to pay $60 extra for participation in a school musical. coming from a low income household this does make a difference and it means i miss out on opportunities because they charge $50-$200 extra, PLUS they ask for voluntary contribution. not even mentioning the outrageous canteen prices which are still going up. most teachers dont do their jobs properly and talk down to us like we are stupid if we arent in the top class, and if we are in the top class, they assume we already know what we need to and dont bother to teach us the material, past reading what is in the textbook. the students at the school are sheltered and arrogant beyond beleif, and the one who have been there since kindergarten appear to have no concept of how the real world works. the only reason im giving nowra anglican 2 stars, is because the other schools in the area are even worse than this one. i suggest you do NOT enrol here, but in the end, do what you want. its your money and i dont know you so i dont care. bye.

They don't fully understand mental illnesses and struggle to care for kids with it
