Pimlico - Average school - different traits
Great school. Could be improved by the indoor learning conditions and outdoor lunchtime conditions suitable for climate. But great opportunities offered and it's great for music. Great friends (if you hang out with the right kids) and teachers (some eiffy ones but what can you do).
Pimlico High - Music and best teacher
The school is not the worst but it needs to put on plays and musicals other than Pim Pres. Yeah I mean it’s like every other school it has it’s problems what one doesn’t, I went a whole unit without a teacher for one class. And as everyone at that school already knows Mr Harting is the best teacher there

My math teacher used to keep my class in for 25-30 minutes during lunch (limit is 20 minutes)and when students reported her the school believed my math teachers lies

horrible school, don’t go there. i went there for about 3 years a couple years back and i was severely bullied, when i tried seeking help at whatever bullshit recourses they have i was told that i was not bullied and that i was lying. and the teachers ended up telling the students who bullied me and it only got worse. Not to mention the fact that the higher departments of staff are horrible, one time i missed the whole day of school because of a doctors appointment and my first period teacher accidentally marked me as here on the roll even though i was not. i was called up by the staff who control behaviour/punishments, and i was issued 6 detentions for every person i missed. i told her so many times that i was away the whole day and that she can call my nana to confirm. she completely refused and forced me to go to those 6 detentions, despite the fact that i didn’t do anything wrong.
This is a horrible school and half of the teachers physically grab students and yell at them.

Consider this before coming to Pimlico.
As I am currently going to Pimlico I can safely say that it is not worth your time. The teachers like to shame students for being who they are because they don’t fit into THEIR beliefs as well as getting mad at the drop of a hat over minor inconveniences. I have one specific teacher who won’t even let her students speak before gaslighting them into thinking that the fact they don’t understand a subject is because they are stupid. She won’t even let her students ask for help because all she has to say to it is “well you should have paid attention when I showed you how to do it” WHEN SHE DOSENT EVEN SHOW US SHIT. not to mention that the current stand in principle is a total perv to the female students as he is always looking at their breast and being really obvious about it. The staff have locked toilets during the day and only open them at lunch and they claim it’s to “stop kids vaping” but it also creates mass lines for people who need to go and actually pee and most of the time students don’t even get the chance to go because by the time they get in the toilets due to the line, they are told by a teacher standing in the toilet block that they have to go to class because the bell has gone. A teacher once stood in front of me and would not let me pass because she accused me of vaping she then forcefully took my bag searched it then told me to empty my pockets. I was fine with that I don’t vape. But what really pissed me off was when she told me to lift my bra a shake it to prove I didn’t hide anything there. What a load of shit. I refused and was nearly suspended because of it. All because I told a TEACHER I didn’t want to do that because in all honesty why female STUDENT wants to do that in front of a TEACHER. Not only are the toilets locked up during the day but the conditions of them are disgusting. Pads are always on the walls there is graffiti all over the stalls and toilet and you’d be lucky if 3 out of 9 toilets actually flushed. There is never any toilet paper and the floor is always covered in liquid wether it be piss or water it’s fucking horrid. DONT waste your time DONT come to Pimlico. It isn’t worth the trauma.

Went to pimlico from year 7 to 11. It was awful. There were good teachers scattered around but generally speaking they were power tripping egotistical babies with repressed emotions they would take out by being pains in the proverbial to children attending. One specific ex Olympic teacher was a prime example.
Here is a list of incidents that baffle me in regards to their incredible stupidity.
1. Once I was hanging around a group of kids damaging property. I was issued 3 detentions as a result of being in the proximity of the incident as me being around was apparently supporting the behaviour. How that works i still cannot tell you.
2. A fight once broke out at school, the following day the grade below me was brought into assembly and scolded for not personally taking it upon themselves to run in to the violence and stop the fight. I wanna make this one specifically clear, FULLY GROWN ADULTS WERE SCOULDING CHILDREN, FOR NOT ENDANGERING THEIR OWN SAFTEY TO DO THEIR JOB FOR THEM. Absolutely shameful.
3. The countless time children have been issued detentions for extremely meaningless minor infractions, including but not limited to: Black socks, coloured shoes, throwing a ball to a mate outside of the oval. Using a phone at lunch, listening to music at lunch, and many more I won't list for the sake of space on this list.
4. Once I was talking to my PhisEd teacher, the prior mentioned ex Olympic teacher had come over and made a comment at my expense. After informing him I was having a conversation with this teacher and in fact not him, and expressing (politely) my disapproval of his comment he entered a fit of rage. Instead of apologising or even politely arguing his point he resorting to clenching his fists and entering a state that I can only describe as a temper tantrum. He wallowed around like a 4 year old with his face so close to mine it was in kissing distance, getting more spit on my face than my girlfriend ever could kissing me. His fists were shaking and clenched, he screamed in my face for a solid couple minutes at how disrespected he was, all because a 15 year old had asked him to not make fun of him.
I should also add the absolute state of the toilets. The condition of K block boys rooms is actually comparable to a soviet gulag at some points. The foundation was not layer correctly so the floor is uneven and creates small pockets of depth that within a day are filled with urine, there are no working mirrors that I am aware off and 2 (two) lockable cubicals. The stench almost constitutes being a CBRN threat and by the end of the week its so bad that any student willing to enter should be equipped with a military grade chemical warfare suit and gas mask. I have seen with my own two eyes fecal matter smeared across the walls and strange lights in the toilets im assuming to be vapes. K block should be sectioned off and I wish I was kidding.
Pimlico state high school fell off hard. I would not send my kids there if I had any and I genuinely feel for the poor souls who attend it now.
The only redeeming factor of this school is a select handful of teachers and the tuckshops chicken devils.
Shout outs to Miss Gail at the admin desk tho, my g for real. Hope your doing alr.
