The school is SOOOOOO disorganised. Half the teachers don't know what they're doing, where the other half are amazing (they usually stay a year then leave for a better school). the punishments aren't effective and usually end up doing more harm than good, for example the "upper school" system where students are sent to a senior class and just end up disrupting that one too. Not to mention the lack of teachers, with half of the scheduled classes having to be combined with another due to being short staffed. I even saw a year 9 media class that didn't have a teacher, so they had brought a PlayStation from home ayed that every lesson. The school doesn't care about the racism, sexism and homophobia, with students calling eachother slurs infront of teachers with no backlash. The school calendar they have set up is never correct and the emails to parents are always late or contain the wrong information. Finally, the year 11/12 subjects they have are so limited that your better off switching schools or dropping out. A perfect example is my science teacher who would play Netflix shows and tell the students jokes, rather than answer students questions and teach us.
The teachers are terrible and most don’t know what they’re teaching, very few teachers have control of the students and some don’t even try. The students are as a majority rude and disrespectful. The school cares more about vaping and fights then they do about the students education and other issues like homophobia. If it wasn’t the only high school in the area i would definitely move schools. Every day there feels like hell and every classroom is like a prison.
