When I moved to this school I thought I made the right choice but the more I attended, the more I realised how horrible it is. People are bullied and called slurs all the time and I have never felt so uncomfortable walking through somewhere like when I'm at prescott. The staff are all rude and make many feel scared to come to school due to unfair punishments. I don't feel safe when I'm at school due to the staff and students around me. The school is also disgusting and dirty. Squished bananas and rotten food is everywhere and you have to be careful just to get to your locker. People often threaten you and make you feel scared to go to school. Rules are also added randomly that have no real use and it doesn't benefit anyone. I would write more but I'd I wrote everything this would be a very long review
teachers are so sexist and they don’t care when others are getting bullied at all people use slurs all the time and the winter uniform is so heavy but it does nothing to keep you warm and if your in a group of over 3 they kick you out of the library and it’s so bad the toilets are also disgusting and stuff is always broken. The majority of students are so disrespectful and rude and they don’t care for anyone and make others feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. The lessons are all so boring and the teachers don’t really care if students learn they care more about if you have multiple earrings in one ear then anything else. They say how important it is not to force religion onto people but every day going to school makes me hate Christianity because they make it so boring and force it upon you so much. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Some teachers are very sexist and simply could not care less about students. Some of them make fun of students, mock them and laugh at them. Most of them dont know how to teach properly. There is no care for student’s education whatsoever.
The uniform is horrible and unnecessarily expensive. The winter uniform (worn in terms 2&3) does nothing to keep students warm. There is little to no shelter for students to use when its cold and very rarely a classroom is open.
A lot of students are extremely rude and have no care for others. Slurs are used all the time and teachers dont care. It is very common for people to be bullied and mistreated. Even if a teacher is aware, nothing is ever done.
They constantly preach about “being the best you!” but dont allow students to do that at all. And if you try, you suffer a consequence which most likely makes them add another stupid rule.
Its like walking on egg shells. Anything you do you are at risk of being told off. I understand rules are for peoples safety, but there is no need to restrict them from existing and being themselves.
They try and get students to live a “healthy” life but all they sell in the canteen is junk food with wrappers that are littered everywhere with no effort to be cleaned up.
Overall a tidy, clean school with mostly good teachers (most can speak english properly)... though the teachers can be fairly sexist when it comes to punishments and the handling of grades and marking, favouring female students over males. The schoolyard is very breezy during winter and there is very little shelter from the elements, especially when they will not allow certain students into classrooms during break times. The canteen is baron for choice and after all their healthy eating preaching, most items are unhealty and come in environmentally-unfriendly packaging. Though the SEQTA system does have a few technical gremlins sometimes, overall it is well updated and simple to use, a good choice.
