A Transformative Experience at Pymble Ladies' College

I am deeply grateful to Pymble Ladies' College for the incredible growth and confidence it has instilled in my daughter. Since she was young, she was naturally introverted and shy, speaking only to me and her father at home while remaining extremely quiet in public. Wanting to nurture her confidence from an early age, I decided to enroll her at Pymble from Kindergarten.

Now in Year 11, she has flourished beyond my expectations. She is a member of the school's Navy contemporary and Scarlet jazz dance competition teams, represents the school in debating and robotics, and continuously pushes herself beyond her comfort zone. While she remains an introvert, she challenges herself to overcome obstacles—a crucial skill for any child who struggles with confidence and courage. Recently, I was amazed to learn that her research paper was selected for publication in Perspective. I had no idea she had completed the research and successfully submitted it—it was entirely self-driven!

Pymble provides a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment where every student is empowered to take on challenges and reach their full potential. The school nurtures self-motivation and self-discipline, offering countless opportunities for leadership and personal growth. My daughter has coached junior school debating teams, tutored children from low-income families, and embraced challenges she once hesitated to face.

I strongly believe that girls benefit immensely from an all-girls school environment, especially in fields like robotics. In a girls’ school, students develop greater confidence and are more willing to actively participate. Pymble offers a wide range of competitive robotics programs, including VEX IQ, VEX VRC, FTC, and FRC, allowing girls to thrive in STEM without hesitation.

I am truly grateful for my daughter’s journey at Pymble from Kindergarten to Year 11. The school has played a vital role in shaping her into a confident, capable, and self-driven young woman.

honestly quite like a cult, not worth the amount of school fees, care more about their reputation than students

I actually loved pymble. It’s not for everyone and I get that but if your kid is really social and sporty then they’ll have the best time there. It’s got a really good school culture and everyone in the year group feels really close. There a definitely times where it feels a bit competitive, especially in the older years, and the teachers can take uniform and stuff way too far but all in all I feel so lucky to have gone there and I’m gonna look back on those years as some of the best in my life.

They care more about the uniform than your education, and then they say that they will give out detentions if you have makeup on or a pe jacket on yet nobody has? The uniform is so silly like just let us wear makeup and have our dresses/skirts at any length and if you are turned on by a bunch of under 18s in short dresses or skirts. Maybe you are the problem. They will apparently make you go to the TAS building and unpick your hem if it is to short but i have only heard of one person be told to do this
