ableist. ableist to disabled children, frequent fights and injuries, a boy got his skull cracked and they didn't bother cleaning the blood. teachers treat students poorly and pick favourites, they tell you they'll give you help but never get back to you.
Boring work, unfair treatment and items being thrown across the room
There are pros and cons at this school, like many others. Ive really enjoyed the science classes so far and my half year options. But English is taking a toll, I used to really love English and enjoyed going to classes but now I just find the work boring and tedious. Since I often find myself finishing the work before others I’ve asked the teacher to get me extra work, but every time I ask for it they ignore me. In fact there’s only one person in my current class getting extra work, so the teacher is deliberately ignoring me. I’m a good student who has always followed the rules but when I’m ignored and the teacher instead goes to another student it really pisses me off. The only difference between me and the other student who gets extra work is the fact that they have good grades in math and is more social.
And the students here have no respect whatsoever, sure a select few do but it’s extremely hard to get work done when students are throwing pencils, glue sticks, paper and erasers across the room especially when the teachers aren’t doing anything about it, they just say “[student] stop throwing stuff around the classroom” and never return to it. There has been multiple occasions where me and my friend got hit by the items and not one person apologised or the teacher removed the student. It’s actually funny because the more I’m typing this the more I realise how bad of a school it is, and the only reason I’m still here is because I’ve got no other option
