The art department very clearly does not get enough attention. The school is mainly focuses around sports and doesn't really care about the other subjects going on. In the art rooms there is barely any paints, and majority of the copic and posca pens have been stolen from other students. Mainly all of the art supplies are not properly taken care of due to the lack of responsibility of other students, such as many of the paint bruses have dried up paint in the bristles or are broken. The computers in the art wing are also mainly broken, such as alot won't turn on, or they have a broken mouse or keyboard. If a student wants to do digital art on platforms like photoshop it is very difficult to do so. Last year there were many issues with using photoshop which was a need for the assessment but with the poor conditions of the computers almost all the students had issues using it.
The principal the most out of touch leader I have ever seen. This school could be a proud in that majority of its students are from poorer backgrounds and therefore go into trades. She could work on supporting that. Instead she barley knows students names, brushes of disabled or struggling students. As she has expelled a girl for having tourettes. If you are not in a Uni pathway you are a threat to her perfect school issue. She stumbles over her words and has no care, pride or support for her students, all the things a real principal needs.
this school does not care about it's disabled students
got called the r-slur (i am disabled) and the staff did nothing about it. Thanks a bunch for allowing people to call me whatever they please because you think i am lesser than your able bodied students! also barely any accommodations, which makes my life a whole lot harder.
-Fence makes it look like a prison.
-Teachers / Staff never help when you report bullying.
-Teachers blame the students when they do bad at teaching.
-Cause of a lot of peoples depression, anxiety, stress.
