Has some good teachers that encourage and support students of different economic and ethnic backgrounds. There were some teachers that had no business being in a classroom with minors (just another reason why Australia has a lot of problems with youth mental health).
Most of the students were well behaved and followed instructions, although there was a minority that was loud and disruptive and are, unfortunately, the one thing people may remember from this school. Some teachers had a good, firm control on disruptive students while others just let them run wild.
As far as class quality and learning goes, it was decent, quite satisfactory. Teachers were open to discussion on the subjects, not only teaching them.
fuckin shit principle penny tranter touches girls. pulls girls skirts down, lifts their tops up, rips necklace off people’s necks, said and i quote “i can see your ass in that skirt”.
wellbeing leader carol davey refused me to see a person from wellbeing that i trusted and now has refused me to speak to more people. carol stand in the student bathroom at recess and lunch refusing people to go to the toilet in their break time. carol measures girls skirts in a fucking public school. people can go around in a fucking dog collar “cos they identify as a dog” but i can’t wear a plain long sleeve under my fucking uniform. absolute joke of a school
Seaview hight School presents itself as a big fancy school and has no- bullying tolerance. I have been at Seaview let me tell you it is NOT a no-bullying tolerance school, members of staff at Seaview DO NOT CARE. I have been at Seaview for the past 5 years and I have been bullied constantly by students and the staff once again DO NOT do anything about it. I was also harassed by 2 members of staff at Seaview for my learning disability and my glasses. I told someone about it and they did nothing because that is the type of school they are they don't care for their well-being when it comes to bullying. There are some good teachers at Seaview but overall I don't recommend going there. On an educational basis, if you have a learning disability like myself, you will get support from an SSO but to all of the teachers you will be known as the one with the learning disability and be treated completely differently from other students, it is like you are an alien in the room. From my experience, it does not feel the best and when you try and talk to someone about it, it will never change.

its decent, some of the rules are so irrelevant and time wasting. there’s like a few very good teachers, some that are average. And many that love to torture children’s lives. There is one teacher that is the best and is always a huge help in life.
When it comes to mental health the school could not care less. My daughter came home crying because one of her teachers said to her that her mental health isn’t the teachers problem and she needs to get her work done. She was also harassed by many females but all they could do was pull them aside and say stop. My daughter struggles with really bad mental health and has gotten a lot worse. Thankfully she’s moving to a school that prioritises her mental health. Do better Seaview.
Very very disappointing to see what seaview has become. My kids have been going here for many years now and the school and its guidelines have become an absolute shit show. Parents, please consider other schools before sending your children here. They will not have a great time.
