Sheldon College

I went to this school for around 2 years. It has excellent education, and environmen.y. However the kids their are so rude, bullying is an everyday issue, and the school doesn’t care about it. they rather focus on having the right socks, than responding to real life bullying. They do not deal with bullying appropriately, instead just push it aside thinking it’s a joke, when numerous people have explained that bullies wanted them dead.
Do not recommend.

I love school. The education is great. I understand why the dress code is so strict. There is a lot of popularity, comparison when it come to social status and life. The teachers do have favourites which is fine by me but every time i ask the teacher something that i don't understand. They would just come up with examples instead of solutions and thee formulas and definitions. The main problem would probably be the popularity, judgemental and social life in the school.

I am a former Sheldon College student that graduated last year, and I am thrilled to provide a glowing review. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff members were friendly and helpful, and the students appeared to be engaged and excited about their learning.

The facilities at Sheldon College are top-notch. The classrooms are bright, clean, and well-maintained. The technology is up-to-date, and each classroom is equipped with smartboards and other tools that enhance the learning experience. The school also boasts a beautiful library, a fully equipped gymnasium, and a variety of outdoor spaces for students to enjoy.

What impressed me most about Sheldon College, however, was the quality of the teaching. The teachers are knowledgeable, dedicated, and passionate about their subjects. They create a learning environment that is both challenging and supportive, encouraging students to ask questions, explore new ideas, and take risks. The teachers also make a real effort to get to know each student as an individual, tailoring their instruction to meet each student's needs and interests.

The curriculum at Sheldon College is rigorous and comprehensive, providing students with a strong foundation in all subjects. However, the school also recognizes the importance of extracurricular activities, and there are a wide variety of clubs, sports teams, and other programs available to students. This allows students to pursue their interests outside of the classroom and develop skills and passions that will serve them well throughout their lives.

Overall, I highly recommend Sheldon College to any parent or student looking for a high-quality education in a supportive and nurturing environment. The school's commitment to academic excellence, personalized instruction, and extracurricular opportunities make it a truly outstanding place to learn and grow.

Sheldon college is a school with a lovely environment. It demands respect from all its students, and accurately prepares students for the work force.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you have a child with extreme learning difficulties or disabilities, this school is not the best equipped to support different needs. While there are some lovely, understanding and knowledgeable staff who provide amazing support for those with complex needs, the majority of teachers do not understand how to adapt their lessons to include a more diverse range of learning needs. This school has gotten better over the years, however even in year 12, I had to fight and push in order to get the support I needed in order to finish my schooling.

Overall:
Great school for students who want to achieve high academically, in the sporting field or music industry. It gives students all the tools needed in order to pursue whatever work force they would like to enter and goes above and beyond to give you the skills that make you stand out from others. If students don't want to achieve high resolutes, and want to just pass and get by during schooling, this definitely will not be the best choice of school. This school is also not very well equipped to educate those with serious learning difficulties or disabilities.
