About ten years ago in 2015, when I was in Year 2, I had a mix of good and bad experiences at this school.
One of the worst moments I had was when I was falsely accused of throwing a rock at someone’s face during lunch. I had no idea what was happening, but when I went back to class, my teacher stormed in, screaming at me to go to the back room. She didn’t even give me a chance to explain myself. As I walked there, she yelled again, telling me to stay until I "thought about what I had done." The worst part was that I genuinely didn’t know what I had done wrong. Even though I was innocent, I still got in trouble with both my parents and teachers.
What made it even worse was that my whole class heard everything. The teacher was so loud that my classmates got scared. It wasn’t just embarrassing for me.
On top of that, bullying was one of the worst issues in this school. Teachers would never care about what happened to you, even when they saw it with their own eyes. Instead of the bullies getting in trouble, I was the one who ended up being punished. Just what kind of school allows that to happen? It felt completely unfair, and it seemed like the staff didn’t care about protecting students.
Considering this was a Christian school, I expected a more understanding and compassionate approach from the teachers. Instead, they jumped straight to punishment without listening to my side of the story. It was a disappointing experience, and it made me question how the school handled both discipline and student well-being.
