Ok St Helena is average. I mean it’s your average public school. It’s not the schools fault it’s mainly the students. This school could be amazing if it had amazing students. I don’t think kids should be blaming the school and the teachers for their mistakes. Ok the teachers aren’t the best but it’s a public school. They just recently upgraded their classrooms and they are nice. There are some faults but the government doesn’t have enough money to upgrade every single school in Victoria. There are a wide range of subject choices for VCE and a lot of them are practical. We also have a lot of VET courses. The uniform is amazing and overall it’s not a bad school.
I rate this “school” a 0/10. Only come to this school if your popular and like P.E. Many bullies and rude kids who pick on you. There are more security cameras in the school then good teachers. The school cares more about what the public think then the kids having to go this place everyday. Only good thing about this school is that your allowed to wear your P.E uniform everyday instead of the base uniform. I have learnt nothing at this school and have moved schools. DONT GO THERE.
Honestly this school is really really good for a public school. It's very easy to make friends here, and the different programs such as instruments, the multiple annual plays & musicals, the accredited learning program, and the range of VCE subjects provided means this school is somewhere you can grow and learn. Yes, there will occasionally be problems with a mean teacher or a detention, but much less then other schools in the area.
