St Kevin's Kindergarten, Benowa

I couldn’t find the primary school, so this will have to do. I’m writing this not as a parent but as a former student. I feel as though my perspective is more valuable when you consider that I am now 20, and would rate my high school as a 4/5.

If you are thinking of sending your child here: do not do it. I had some lovely teachers, they know who they are. Unfortunately, this school also employs some of the worst educators in Australia. A fantastic example of Ps get degrees. I would love for the teachers at St Kevin’s to read this. I’ll remain anonymous, but in the year of 2013, my fifth grade teacher loved to comment on how I’d stare at the clock instead of listening to him. First of all, maybe you’re just boring? Get a hobby lol. Second of all, I actually got diagnosed with severe ADHD in 2018. Which you’d have recognised if you were a little bit smarter. I won’t comment on how I got bullied (by the students), I don’t really care and it didn’t happen in high school. I think kids are kids, and don’t blame THEM. Also how can I whinge and whine when I too (especially in high school) did the same? Anyway, what I WILL say, is 2013 fifth grade homeboy, actively encouraged, participated and at times began bullying me. Like bro what did I do? What was the reason? I’m only kidding I’m about to imply that. He was quite rude to me. A fat, ugly little 10 year old. He did seem pretty eager to appeal to the ‘attractive’ (even writing that makes me cringe) TEN YEAR OLD GIRLS!!!! So desperate to be popular. With ten year olds. To be fair, he desperately sought the approval of ten year old boys too. So perhaps it was just a ‘he was bullied in school thing.’ Anyway, regardless of the quality of teachers, I would say that you shouldn’t send your children there.

The rest of the teachers varied, typical school stuff. But I wish my parents sent me to literally any other school.
