Teachers are racist, homophobic and don't give a cow about the kids. The racism officer is even the one who is racist. You get bashed by all the eshays who vape 24/7. If you want a bad life and being a criminal and a serial vaper, go here. Only good thing is the canteen.

this school sucks many of the teachers are racist, homophobic and over all bad people. the staff hardly do anything about bullying. if you wanna have a bad high school experience then go here.

Aside from the slightly colourless Campus (which is gradually updating) Balmain was an amazing school to attend. At Balmain I was offered endless opportunities in all fields of schooling, including academics, creative arts and sports, leadership opportunities, etc. It was a safe and fun environment to learn in, and the teachers were always helpful in solving an problems that arose. I find it very beneficial that the year 7-10’s at Balmain and Leichhardt are on a seperate Campus to the year 11’s and 12’s at Blackwattle as it creatives a more innocent learning space, away from the dread of HSC years. But this also allows the teachers to truely focus on their classes, rather then giving year 11 or 12’s more attention because the HSC is “more important”. Although the canteen is a little overpriced, the food is amazing and the canteen ladies are the sweetest. Also the school is by the water 💪.
