i am current in year 12 at lismore high, and have been there since year 7, and I have a small list of things negative things I've picked up on over the years I've been there.
first of all the deputy principles makes no effort to contact parents with information about events, instead sending emails to the STUDENTS, expecting them to see and inform their parents.
the deputy (same one) is so focused on making sure everyone's uniform is perfect, and that all phone are locked away in the YONDER pouches, that it has taken so much focus off out education, ya know the thing schools are meant for.
Students with mad attitudes towards classes, and refuse to cooperate are taken into the care of head teachers and the deputy, and aren't looked upon for bad behaviour or anything similar.
popular sporty groups are supported by year advisers, who will not voluntarily talk to what would be considered the "nerdy" groups, meaning we have to go out of out way to seek help from the person who should be keeping an eye on us wether or not they relate to us in any way.
other than that it's an alright school that does offer education expected from a public school, and has a lovely group of teachers willing to listen to any issues students may have Wether it's personal or not
The school is great in education wise but the teacher's do not listen to what so ever. One I got called in to the Deputy principle office because they thought I was vapeing. I said to them very clearly that I wasn't and they could look in my bag if they whated to after that they let me go. And I went home and my parents said they got call that I had a vape and was using it in my mind I was like wtf
