Thuringowa State High School

The teachers are super nice, approachable, accepting and funny. The problem is the principle and the students. The principle makes up the weirdest rules and doesnt take time to think about it. "No walking in groups of 8" that just encourages exclusion, but she didn't think of that because she thinks she is always right. She is mean and unapproachable. And the students are like wild animals. They're rude, racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, and very very very ableist. In class you cannot focus on work, because there's always so much chaos and chatter. The amount of slurs and derogatory terms I hear daily, and the teachers and principal do nothing because they're too fixated on whos phones are out and whether your jumper is the right colour and has no logos. You can't even go to the bathroom in peace, because there's always a bunch of kids in there vaping. Yet instead of talking about the real issues like those, they choose the least important things to obsess over. However, it does have a great drama department, with a bunch of opportunities including theatre restaurant, the scene project etc. If you're a bad student, you'll fit in great at Thuringowa.
