Entirely reliant on those that do not make decisions
A substantial presence of minimally engaged, rude staff that routinely belittle students that attempt to take action in the favour of their education. There are a few select teachers who are kind and capable, but they are largely overworked and incapable of altering the entire system. 'Student development' sessions equate to time amongst students to talk without aim, as teachers have been left with such little guidance about what they are supposed to be doing that they would rather not waste their and the student's time.
The general sense is that those making decisions are either disconnect from, or do not care for the students: as a singular and specific example, a single bathroom for the entire secondary school is provided, and it is in the far corner of the school.
Next to no systematic effort is dedicated to enabling students to achieve academically; the most relevant learning is almost always completed from an online service or textbook. Advice offered for careers is only provided when explicitly asked, and is scarcely relevant and unprepared. It is hard to see how this justifies the rates of the school.
Everything one might enjoy about the school stems from exceptional effort provided from a few outstanding individuals, meaning it is generally poorly funded and transient.
