Tutorial program and safety..

Survival of the fittest..

As a parent I'm disgusted this school does not give you a voice but they quick to accept the school fees we parents pay the school to help get resources for our students.my recent conversations with the senior coordinator was like trying to beg Hitler to understand my child was being bullied by four students at the school and was afraid to be at school so I contacted education Queensland dept..to step in to ask the school if my child would take a leave and come back the next year to repeat her grades but to my surprise when contacting the senior school coordinator the following year she come to the conclusion that my child cannot repeat her grades she can go somewhere else as there idea of palming off a student as part of there regular routine at Trinity bay high school when they can't find a solution they palm off every students they feel don't have the rights to be at school to complete their educations they think that there are other learning institutions around that can accommodate to provide education they miss the point of taking away the dignity of the students who have the rights to be at Trinity bay high school and fullfilling their dreams it's more like survival of the fittest if a students can't survive their horrible agenda they are shown the door nothing will ever change there is so much discrimination I ever seen in my life time when we supposed to teach the next generation about pick up each other when there are down instead we exposing racism all over again education should be free for all not come with all the codes and standards and lastly Im concerns about education Queensland dept not having enough power to override decisions within the schools it makes you wonder who is really standing behind our children education why say everyday at school counts the current policy is depriving disadvantage children from completing their education at the institutions of their choice where there feel comfortable and so we complain about young children commit crimes not staying in school and get an education think again who is responsible for palming them off from getting the education they deserve..in conclusion it's time for the government to step in to investigate the wrongs that are happening in the school Start with the school who have a long history of degrading their students which is Trinity bay high school as they say at this school you are only allowed to be seen and not heard..the only thing that the school is only good for is the food at the school tuckshop which is far better than half of the school staffs..NB..never get to speak with the principal who are always too busy to talk or even bother to make contact with us particular parent..The only support I received from the school was Only a 5 steps safety guidelines nothing else..

Not being heard.

In my experience during my years at school, I’m in 11th grade and have been through a lot. I’ve felt like no one really listened and was there for me when I needed someone, I would ask for help and I would be palmed off or only given very little help ,when trinity bay preaches about being big on support and how they never want anyone feeling alone. During my school years I can say there has been 5 attempts behind closed doors due to lack of help and understanding. Recently I’ve been a victim to bullying and harassment and of course I took it up with the principal, I expressed my concerns and the things I would’ve liked to happen so I can feel safe going to school and yes I was asked by the principal what I would like to happen to ensure my safety but no action was taken even despite my mother and education of department being involved. Still to this day I feel like I have no voice.
