I’ve been at this school year 7 to now in year 12. I can say this school absolutely does not really care about its students well beings and rather their “presentation” to the public. They try to and want to seem like a private school yet have harsher rules and punishments then a private school really would in relation to such small things like wearing the wrong socks! They say they have no tolerance for bullying yet don’t really take these matters seriously. Teachers belittle you here all the time. They offer hardly any subjects for senior students to really explore a field they would like. They do not cater well enough for students who struggle in school and class. Kids are horrible here, with students vaping starting from even year 7 and you could find atleast 10+ drug dealers from varsity easily. There is so much more I could say about the school and even give specific examples but varsity college doesn’t even deserve my time and effort. I cannot wait to leave such a school that ruins your child’s well being and mental health and I urge parents not to send their students here even though it may be presented as such a “great school”.
They care about the uniform way to much it doesn’t affect our learning if were in the right uniform or wearing rings or having a nose ring
Also the starting time is way to early for a public school miami time table is better
Also they are a public school why try to be like a private
When I first went into year seven I wasn’t sure about how I was going to feel. Originally if nothing worked out I would move to Robina. Now I am living my life as a year seven doing the best that I absolutely can. The teachers at this school have done so much to help students and they are just so nice, they all deserve a raise. Sometimes I have problems but I just go to a teacher and they help me through it. Last year when I was in year six all I got were C’s. Now I have bumped that up and got a few A’s, B’s and still some C’s (but not much). I am happy to say that I am a proud member of Varsity College.
Horrible school. They care more about uniforms and ripping up the gardens than their students. They say they have a “zero tolerance for bullying” but they do nothing if your actually being bullied. They have limited subjects and force you into atar. They say they have a good arts program but they care more about their sport kids. The students that go there are horrible and I strongly suggest you not waste your money on this school.
This school has limited subjects and forces student into an atar pathway even if it’s not what they want to pursue. The teachers only care about themselves and the students attending are absolutely horrible. The school says they have a “zero tolerance for bullying” but they do nothing if you actually are being bullied. All in all this school needs to get their head on straight and stop caring more about uniforms and repainting the building than their students. Also this school says they have a good arts program but they care more about sports than their art and drama kids
