Wavell State High School

Great school. Mostly amazing staff and students. Uniform isn't too bad.

Wavell state high school is honestly a very disappointing school, they are way to strict on their uniforms especially with girls earrings or a simple bracelet, I can understand that you want to look like a formal and smart school but a few little bits of jewellery never hurt anyone, and respectfully your not a private school so you aren’t anything special, and the uniform is an outrage, I see kids crying and sweating after school because of the uniform, the shirts are white and although there light and simple, they’re white!! Easy to see sweat and most people don’t want their sweat on display, than the girls formal skirts they’re thick and ugly and wayyy to long especially for the summer, you wonder why they get them hemmed so short or they walk around with it rolled so high so they don’t sweat so much, another fail on their behalf, their sports uniform on the other hand is gorgeous, personally I think they should atleast be allowed to wear that for jan-feb of the year as that is when summer is at the hottest and as long as students are wearing a uniform and not random clothes I personally think it’s fine, as a 9th grader that’s currently at their school I am insanely bothered with this uniform and it must be changed , I can say tho that they produce proud and amazing smart students they just really need to change their uniform.
